Q. What’s the difference between a 4-Door Refrigerator and a French Door Refrigerator?Samsung offers two types of refrigerators with different door and freezer layouts:
- • 4-Door Refrigerator: Features four doors with the fridge on top and side-opening freezer doors at the bottom. Some models include a FlexZone™ drawer in the freezer for flexible storage options.

Q. What Samsung 2-Door fridge models are there?Samsung offers two main types of 2-door refrigerators, each with a different layout:
- • Side-by-Side Refrigerator: Fridge and freezer compartments are positioned next to each other, providing easy access and generous door storage.
- • Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator: The fridge is placed above the freezer, offering convenient access to fresh food while keeping frozen items neatly stored below.

Q. What’s different between counter-depth and standard-depth fridges?The key difference lies in depth and storage capacity:
- • Counter-depth refrigerator: usually 55cm deep, the fridge is a built-in design, seamlessly integrating to sit flush with surrounding cabinets. It is particularly well-suited for galley or island kitchen layouts.
- • Standard-depth refrigerator: usually approx. 65cm - 77cm deep, offering more storage space. It fits best in traditional kitchen layouts.

Q. What is AI Hybrid Cooling?AI Hybrid Cooling combines a high-efficiency compressor and a Peltier element, which can operate separately or together. It works efficiently using the most appropriate power source and by learning and adjusting its performance to suit your usage patterns. And it can maintain a constant temperature(1) under any circumstances, so it helps preserves the natural taste and texture of food for a long time.
1. Based on internal testing. AI Hybrid Cooling’s precise temperature control ensures that the temperature variation is only ±0.3°C, compared to a conventional system that varies by ±0.5°C. When defrosting the internal temperature only increases by 1°C, compared to a conventional system that increases by +3°C. -
Q. What is Family Hub?Family Hub is a smart refrigerator with a large display and voice control, designed to keep your family connected and organised:
- • Manage food and recipes with onscreen apps.
- • Control smart home devices via Bixby voice commands.
- • Share photos, notes, and calendars with family members.
- • Enjoy entertainment like TV, music on the screen.
SmartThings app required, available on Android & iOS. Internet connection & Samsung account required.

Q. What is Beverage Center™?Beverage Center™ is a built‑in water and beverage system inside the fridge, with a dispenser and an AutoFill Water Pitcher:
- • Standard dispenser: Built inside the fridge with a detachable nozzle for easy cleaning and less contamination risk.
- • AutoFill Water Pitcher (1.4L/48oz): BPA‑free, dishwasher‑safe, can fill large tumblers in one pour, and includes an infuser for fruits or herbs.
- • Hygiene & safety: The pitcher is SGS-certified dishwasher-safe after 125 test cycles (BS EN 12875-1:2005) and is BPA-free.

Q. What kinds of ice can Samsung fridges make?Samsung offers three types of ice, which may vary by product model:
- • Cubed Ice: The most common type, typically square or rectangular. Cools drinks quickly and melts at a moderate rate, preserving flavor.
- • Ice Bites: Smaller, rectangular cubes that chill drinks rapidly and melt quickly—perfect for fast cooling.
- • Crushed Ice: Small, broken pieces perfect for smoothies, cocktails, and cold desserts, offering a refreshing texture.

Q. What is AI Energy Mode?AI Energy Mode adjusts compressor speed and defrost cycles based on usage and surroundings to reduce energy while maintaining cooling.
Note: Cooling performance may feel slightly weaker, and frozen items might soften. This is normal and not a defect. To restore cooling, try turning AI Energy Mode off and then back on.
Your refrigerator must be connected to the SmartThings app available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. -
Q. What is SpaceMax?SpaceMax™ technology uses thinner walls* to create more usable storage space without increasing the refrigerator’s external dimensions or reducing energy efficiency. The flat cooling duct at the back also minimizes ‘dead space,’ allowing for better storage layout.

Q. Where can I buy replacement panels for my Bespoke refrigerator?You can purchase official Samsung Bespoke refrigerator replacement door panels directly through Samsung Customer Service.
However, purchase eligibility varies depending on the purchase date of your refrigerator:
- • Purchases before June 30, 2026: Replacement panels are available for certain Bespoke refrigerators models purchased on or before this date.
- • Purchases on or after July 1, 2026: Bespoke models purchased starting July 1, 2026 are not eligible for panel purchases or replacements.
Please note that not all Bespoke models support panel replacements. Even if your refrigerator was purchased before June 30, 2026, panel compatibility may vary depending on your specific model. To verify if your model is eligible for a panel change, please contact the Samsung Customer Support team with your model number for assistance.
